Vocalist and composer Sona Mohapatra has recounted her interactions with Kailash Kher and has described how he attempted to make advances in a progression of tweets.
Kailash Kher has also been blamed by various ladies for inappropriate behavior before. A photojournalist has blamed Kailash Kher for explicitly hassling her when she went to her home for a meeting in 2006. Another lady has additionally blamed Kailash Kher for inviting her more than once to his hotel room in Kolkata.
Kailash Kher said regarding the claims that he respects women and said that he is neither mindful of any such demonstration nor does he recall it. Presently, singer Sona Mohapatra has blamed Kailash Kher for sexual misconduct. She slammed him in a progression of tweets and described episodes in which Kailash Kher’s conduct towards her was inappropriate. She tweeted that she initially met him at a cafe in Mumbai to talk about a show. Kailash Kher put his hand on her thigh and complimented her and said that he feels so great that a ‘musician got you and not an actor’. Her leaving the meeting immediately did not discourage Kailash Kher.

Kailash as of late issued an expression of remorse and told a news channel that he respects women and could never consider doing something as disrespectful as this. She berated him on Twitter saying that it will take him a lifetime to apologize to every one of the women that he has gotten out of hand with. Shockingly, Sona did not get trolled for or get reaction for her tweets.
