Four years prior, I was 21, freshly out of a relationship! Singlehood had hit me perfectly. In addition to the fact that i was loving it, I really viewed it as the best thing in my life. My companions and I spent the ends of the week on the cheapest of the happy hours in the shadiest of the bars in the town.

PS: I tried to sneak into a date here and there however dating was the last thing on my mind.
And after 4 years in life, here I am. 25, single and HAPPY.
Here’s a sneak peek into my life, which undoubtedly is a questionable issue for now. After all, ab toh 25 ki ho gai hai, shaadi ka kya khayal??

Well, a man may buy me thousands of diamonds, but the shine and glitter of the solitaire I get for myself brighten my life to the core.
Love? Why can’t I love my own self? For being who I am? Why can’t I be enough?
Ofcourse, I can be. And, I am.

I mean, it’s not like no one wants to marry me. I have probably already met (and ruled out) few guys who totally were perfect shaadi material. But I wanted more. More of me. Exploring my own self. Without being held. Sounds like a problem?

I can literally do whatever I want! Stay out till 4 A.M. or go to bed at 8 P.M. Watch all seasons of Vampire Diaries. Not that someone would stop me had I been hooked, but you somehow have to give up things you love. And I don’t want to. That is it.

Sleeping together is not my thing. NO NO NO! I don’t like sharing my bed, covers, pillows, space, life… anything. So yes, that justifies me being single.

Aur, Papa Ki Pari toh mai hoon hi! Sleeping together is not my thing. NO NO NO! I don’t like sharing my bed, covers, pillows, space, life… anything. So yes, that justifies me being single.

Not to forget, being solo gives me time to think about and actually focus on the things that I want to achieve, like building an awesome career as a writer, spending my money while I shop the whole store and yes, TRAVEL!!!!

Honestly, I am living my life without the thought of someone else in mind. At 25, I am happy with no man in my life and I like it this way. 🙂
