Vidya Malvade

Vidya Malvade is an Indian actress, mainly working in the Bollywood film industry. Vidya was born on 2 March 1973 in Maharashtra, India. She has a younger sister, Darshana Maitra, who lives in New Jersey. Vidya started her career with Vikram Bhatts Inteha (2003) which failed at the box office. After a string of unsuccessful movies and several advertisements, she acted in Chak De India in the year 2007, playing the role of a forward and captain of the Indian womens national hockey team.
