“Thithi”, winner of the National Film Award for Best Kannada Film in 2016 and also the winner of 2 Golden Leopards at the 2015 Locarno Film Festival is a Kannada feature film. This feature film directed by Raam Reddy has released in theaters on 6th May, 2016.

A realistic and light hearted comedy, Thithi, is about how the three generations of sons react to the death of their patriarch, 101 year old, Century Gowda. The three stories converge at Century Gowda’s Thithi-The final funeral, which takes place 11 days after his death. The film is set in a remote village in South India with a cast consisting of the village residents from around the Mandya district of Karnataka.
