Raksha Bandhan is around the corner and if talking about siblings so they have one job to do, annoy us and interfere in our life. Even when they get on our nerves. it becomes almost next to impossible to think of a life without them. And so, however irritating they get, they’re still the best friend we’d want in our life. Moreover, they’re those people who give us a shoulder to cry in our testing times and also make us smile with their stupid behaviour.

And our Bollywood industry has got this bittersweet relationship right on point in movies more than one. From a brother-sister jodi to a brother-brother one and a sister-sister jodi, you name it, Bollywood movies have it.

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na

The chemistry that Genelia D’Souza and Prateik Babbar portrayed on screen, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na was an absolute watch for reasons more than one. The movie which showed the perfect message of ‘pyaar dosti hai’ also nailed it at showing the perfect balance between siblings fights and understandings.

Dil Dhadakne Do

Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra portrayed the sibling jodi so well in this movie.

Satte Pe Satta

Amitabh Bachchan along with not one, not two, but six brothers nailed his character of an elder most brother in Satte Pe Satta.

Queen

Kangana Ranaut in Queen never went on dates alone and was always accompanied by her little brother

Josh

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played a naive younger sister to the overprotective elder brother Shah Rukh Khan. The brother who typically keeps her sister away from all the boys in town and protects her from all the troubles

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Right from making big sacrifices to supporting Farhan Akhtar against all odds, Divya Dutta played a spot-on sister in this biopic.

Kai Po Che

This movie showcases the overprotective nature of brothers, While the movie’s plot doesn’t show their relationship as one of the highlights, it still remains as one of my favourites when it comes to listing on-screen siblings.
