‘Sacred Games’ is one of the most highly appreciated web series in India as well on Netflix internationally. And after it’s first season, it left fans wondering what happened what will happen next after the highly anticipated series left on a huge cliffhanger. It created so many unanswered question in the audience’s minds and left them craving for more.

With the star cast of Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Luke Kenny and the direction of Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the season 2 of ‘Sacred Games’ is bound to have us sitting on the edge of our seats. We will also be seeing a lot of Pankaj Tripathi, who played the role of ‘Guruji’ from season 1 as a key player in the follow up.
Although there is no chance of appearances of the female cast from the last season, Radhika Apte and Kubra Sait, we still could see more of them in flashbacks, given the multiple timelines in the season. Varun Grover will continue to be the principal writer of the show and season 2 will also have 8 episodes in the season just like the previous one.
The first season ended with Sartaj discovering the underground bunker which suggested that Mumbai was going to be hit by a huge chemical or nuclear attack. So the second run will see him continuing to try to stop the conspiracy and save the city’s inhabitants. Fans will also see more of Ganesh Gaintonde and his rise to power after his release from prison in season one.

The whole season is set to be released in 2019.
