The first live-action Pokémon movie is releasing next year, regardless of whether you need it or not. Legendary Pictures and The Pokémon Company released the first official trailer for Detective Pikachu, featuring Ryan Reynolds as an extremely fuzzy adaptation of the franchise’s best-known character.

Detective Pikachu pursues a young fellow named Tim (Justice Smith), whose father has gone bafflingly missing. Tim combines up with Pikachu, his father’s previous accomplice, who also…talks, except noone else can understand him except Tim himself. The film was inspired by a game of a similar name, which additionally includes a gruff, talking Pikachu. But enough about the plot! Since the official trailer has been released, the reviews about this movies have been quite confusing. And, there are hundreds of memes being spread all over the interneton the first trailer of the movie. Right from Pikachu’s furry look to Jigglypuff’s angry mood, there is a meme on each and everything on the internet.
