The makers of upcoming film Cheat India, featuring Emraan Hashmi, recently unveiled the first poster of the film.

Being directed by Soumik Sen, the film, which talks about the education system in India, the film had landed in a controversy earlier. Filmmaker-actor duo Dinesh Gautam and Imran Zahid had claimed the storyline of the film was copied from their film titled Marksheet.

The movie is inspired by the crimes in the Indian education system, which has created a parallel ecosystem infested with a mafia of sorts. In the month of August, Emraan Hashmi revealed the first glimpse of the poster. The tagline of the poster read: “Nakal Mein Hi Akal Hai.” Directed by Soumik Sen, Cheat India went on floors in July.

Emraan Hashmi also uploaded the teaser poster of Cheat India in the month of August-

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted about the film’s teaser poster and wrote: “From the producers of Hindi Medium, Neerja and Tumhari Sulu. Teaser poster of Cheat India. Stars Emraan Hashmi. Directed by Soumik Sen… January 25, 2019 release. Republic Day Weekend.”

After much anticipation, the producers have finally concocted the first poster of the motion picture. While the last one was without Emraan, this one demonstrates an arrangement of a few admit cards that consolidate together to make the actor’s face. Emraan can be seen donning glasses and a stubble look. His serious face is without a doubt indicating that he is coming to uncover the fakes and escape clauses behind India’s entrance exam.

On the off chance that you proceed to disentangle the poster, it clearly speaks of the malpractice of acting like an understudy to clear a specific entrance test in return for cash. It is just the same old thing in India and numerous such cases have been as of now uncovered in past. The most scandalous was the VYAPAM scam. In the poster, you can see cash appended as token with the admit cards and they all join to make a collage potraying Emraan’s face. We can totally comprehend that he will be the person who will raise a voice against this misbehavior.

Earlier this morning, Emraan Hashmi took to twitter to unveil the first poster of his film Cheat India –

Director of the film Shoumik Sen said that Cheat India is a film for all the students, who are under the “pressure to excel”. “This film is for every Indian student who is under pressure to excel in a competitive environment. Today’s youth will hugely relate to Cheat India, told the filmmaker.
Starring actors Emraan and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead roles, “Cheat India” is scheduled to release on January 25, 2019 under Emraan Hashmi Films, in collaboration with Ellipsis Entertainment and T-Series.
