What is the definition of happiness for you? We tend to scan for it in material things, substances, and profession accomplishments, yet regularly dismiss what truly matters to us all the while. London-based animator and artist Steve Cutts is investigating this ‘rat race’ to which we’ve all gotten ourselves tied, and is analyzing our advanced sources of happiness in a humorous new short film that portrays us as the ‘rats’ we’ve moved toward becoming according to the certain system. It’s titled after that baffling high we’re continually pursuing; “Joy.”
