Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous style as she walks the red carpets of award shows as well as over the top stage performances as she tours the world putting on a great show for her millions of fans. Lady Gaga first hit the music scene after being discovered by Akon and then signed her to a deal with his KonLive Distribution label as well as Interscope Records. She struggled at times to keep record deals and was traveling all around the United States to gain a larger fan base. In 2008 she was asked to join The New Kids on The Block Reunion Tour as an opening act. It was shortly after this that Gaga’s first single was released and became a success. This is where the journey of Lady Gaga begins.

 10) “Applause”:

The single “Applause” was the first single off one of Lady Gaga’s most recent albums, Artpop, in the summer of 2013. The single was the first released by Lady Gaga after she had to take time off for a hip injury. The song was a success as it hit number 1 in the United States, Spain, South Korea, Lebanon, Hungary and Greece.

9) “Marry The Night”:

“Marry The Night” was the final single to be released off of Lady Gaga’s second major album entitled Born This Way. The song reached #1 on the US Hot Dance Club songs list as well as going silver in the United Kingdom and Gold in the United States.

8) “Telephone”:

Lady Gaga’s 2010 single “Telephone”
 is actually a collaboration with music sensation Beyonce and would even be nominated for a Grammy for the “Best Pop Collaboration”. “Telephone” is also considered one of Lady Gaga’s top selling singles.

7) “Paparazzi”:

“Paparazzi” was released in the summer of 2009. The single went platinum three times in the United States, Gold in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, New Zealand, Germany, Denmark and twice platinum in Australia.

6) “You And I”:

Gaga’s “You And I” was released in August of 2011 off of the Born This Way album. The single reached the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100, US Adult Pop Songs, US Pop Songs and #1 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs.

5) “Poker Face”:

An early single, “Poker Face” was Lady Gaga’s second single off of her debut album The Fame. “Poker Face” won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording and was then 5x Platinum in the United States.

4) “Born This Way”:

When Lady Gaga released her second album Born This Way in the Spring of 2011, the first single with the same name and it immediately became a success. It hit #1 on the US Billboard 200, US Dance/Electronic, the UK Chart, Swedish, Spanish, Russian, Norwegian, New Zealand, Danish, Czech, Croatian and top 10 in many other countries.

3) “Bad Romance”:

Released in the fall of 2009, “Bad Romance” was a widely popular single off of the album The Fame Monster. Lady Gaga was nominated for two Grammys for this song, for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” and “Best Short Form Music Video”. This is considered one of the best-selling singles in history.

2) “Just Dance”:

Off of The Fame album, “Just Dance” is Lady Gaga’s first major single that sent her to the top of the charts and opened music lover’s eyes all over the world. It was six times platinum in the United States, selling over six million copies.</h2

1) “Edge of Glory”:

From the album Born This Way, “Edge of Glory” hit the top of the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart, #2 on the US Adult Pop Songs, #3 US Pop Songs, #7 US Adult Contemporary and #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts. The single sold over two million copies in the United States and was very successful in many other countries worldwide.
