Morning is the time when women are glories in their natural beauties, sporting messy hair
and no makeup, and still being half asleep. These are rare moments when she doesn’t have
to wear any mask at all.
While working on this project, celebrity photographer Véronique Vial created a unique, casual, intimate atmosphere for her models. There were no make-up artists, no assistants, and no extra lights. Famous women do indeed yawn, smoke, and hesitate to get out of comfy beds. Each one has the capability to be someone playing with their kids and pets, generously offering her guests a cup coffee, and asking to excuse the mess.
As Véronique says, «When a person just woke up, they haven’t yet had the time to put on a mask, they’re still half asleep, they’re not trying to be someone else. They are just what they are. And they are all, you see, they are all just so touching!»
