God lies in small things, may it be everyday tasks, a polite word, a kind gesture, or just showing concern. Surf Excel Pakistan came out with a heartwarming treat recently: an advertisement about the power of helping, sharing, caring, and giving. Much like the intent behind the month of Ramadan, this advertisement shows a bunch of kids coming to the rescue of an elderly vendor trying to make a living, when his cart gets stuck on the street. And much like the intent of the detergent giant’s marketing strategy, taking a few punches, getting down and dirty doing things that matter, things that either give or provide us joy, is always a good idea.
