Hikers Cynthia Bennet and her boyfriend adopted a puppy back in, 2014. Bennet wanted to take golden retriever mix but then they found Henry at an adoption event. He was giant according to his age. Henry was 5 times bigger than other pups. When she went to Henry’s pen he simply nestled into her lap, went stomach up and flipped his head over her arm. That was the point at which she knew he was the one.

“I think we only had him for three days when we took him on our first hike,” Bennett told The Dodo. “He found the steepest, tallest rock around, and he ran up to the top of it to look over the edge.” That’s why they started calling him their “little mountain goat.”

Couple of months ago they decided to have another pet. So they welcomed Siamese little cat blend named Baloo and for that they searched for 5 months. They acquainted the cat with their pooch and Baloo simply went gaga for Henry – all he needed was to play and cuddle with him.

It wasn’t long until the point that Baloo began going on their first outings together. “I get a lot of questions about how we got him used to it. But he really loves it. He really wants to go outside,” Bennett said. “If I touch Henry’s leash, [Baloo] will start screaming at the door.”
