“Don’t let the hand-drawn pictures that serve as the music video fool you”, is what Rolling Stone India had to say about Jaipur rapper Ruhaan’s new single ‘Ghar’ and rightfully so. The video that comes along with the Punjabi rap, depicts the pain of India’s partition through a series of doodles. It comprises a beautiful narrative that metaphorically portrayed how partition took place in the wake of ‘independence’. It is done in the simplest manner but with much poignance, and most beautifully, to say the least.
