This video by app-base service marketplace, Urban Clap, ends with a quote by author Vikram Seth: “To not be able to love the one you love is to have your life wrenched away.” This line is all the context that this short film requires.

Love is not a crime, and being fortunate enough to find true love, and love truly, is almost like a blessing. How pointless is it, then, to divide, or persecute those who find each other in forbidden spaces, outside the periphery of what is acceptable: may it be the confines of their religion, race, or even sex. Or, perhaps, within.

Being homosexual is not a crime, being homosexual and in love isn’t a crime either. But what is truly sinful is trying to ruin love for those who seem to be fighting norms to help sustain it.
