In April 2015, Little Shake Artist Sally Nixon began a venture called “365” in which she needed to make one representation for every day for an entire year. As it was not that simple to consider new thoughts so as often as possible, Sally hunt down motivation in her own particular life and basic routine minutes that she’s experiencing. The craftsman needed to demonstrate the common side of ladies other than arranged Instagram selfies, Snapchat channels, and the various types of online networking that govern our reality.
The ladies of Nixon’s representations are caught doing their easygoing things like washing up, eating in bed, brushing their teeth, strolling around the house without jeans, and having apathetic television time with their companions. At the end of the day – ladies when no one’s viewing.
“They don’t have perfect bodies or perfect habits and that makes them relatable,” she explains to TL Andrews. “The scenes I create around them are everyday places: a bathroom, a restaurant, a messy bedroom. However, my goal with each drawing is to elevate the seemingly mundane to something special.”
