Every now and then, we as a whole need indications of how muddled love can be. It’s not generally that simple, sweet feeling and it’s not generally cheerful. In any case, we’ve gotten so used to the thought of ‘idealize’ love, we pass up a great opportunity for its different shades and tones. From becoming more acquainted with somebody to holding their hand, from doing combating your first set of issues together to knowing affection does not generally expect to stay, Komal Kapoor’s words take us back to what cherishing somebody genuinely involves.

°Cups of Sadness° . Walking through the door, the cups are inescapable they are on the counter, on the table, on the floor some half-full of water, dust floating atop coffee mugs with a white and green fuzz tumblers with rings of red, <the wine was always drunk> this was the only sign that something was wrong unless someone looked past the smile at shifty eyes, ready for home plans canceled last minute <because there are moments where it seems like a good idea to leave but when the time comes, it is unbearable, or so I understand, hidden in the excuses you offer> It passes, it returns I no longer ask, why are you sad I know, I know you do not know why but I look for the cups so I know, when not to leave you alone for too long. . . Dedicated to a friend, sharing for #mentalhealthawarenessmonth I do not claim to know much about depression, it wears different masks and plays many tricks. Sending lots of love to anyone fighting depression. I have seen how difficult it is and your battle is commendable. . . #mentalhealth #poems #prose #lifelessons #poets #poetry #inspirationalquotes #lifelesson #lifequotes #creativewriting #wordstoliveby #artistic #wordsporn #positivepsychology #artistic #depression #poem #advice #positivequotes #psychology #artists #creatives #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #wrinkles

The last few times I saw you, I hadn't been able to look into your eyes they pulled me in, pulled out the emotion in me leaving me drowning in feeling: knowing you didn't love me knowing I still loved you . I look into your eyes now, were they always this dark a shade of brown? I swear I remember speckles of gold and green a glimmer, a sheen it's gone, or maybe I dreamt it up. . Here we sit you talk on and on (About you, of course) I stare into your eyes, uninteruppted by emotions and my heart settles into quiet indifference. This, I realize, is moving on. . .
