Incredible Bollywood actress Zohra Sehgal was fully lively and a happy person. Zohra was named as Sahibzadi Zohra Begum Mumtaz-ullah Khan on 27 April 1912 into a traditional Muslim family in Saharanpur, U.P. An appealing identity, she began her profession as dancer with Uday Shankar in 1935 performing in countries like USA and Japan, and later became a dance teacher at Uday Shankar’s culture centre. She went ahead to exposition roles in pictures, with extraordinary flawlessness.

Affectionately known as the laadli of entertainment and the doyenne of Indian theater, Zohra’s career lasted seven decades, in which she did many movies and stage creations. She had also gone to Pakistan to recite verses for “An evening with Zohra.” Notwithstanding when she was over a hundred years of age, she had an enthusiasm forever which reflects in her strong and brave ways. She would chuckle and influence others to snicker with herself! The actress will dependably remain in our souls for her irresistible excitement.
