“Sapno ki nagari” he Bombay. Mayanagari. City of dreams. City that never sleeps. Mumbai is everything.

I shifted to Mumbai a few months ago from the relatively quiet city of Pune. While many people don’t particularly like the crowded city, I found it astonishingly dreamy. From, of course, the Marine Drive to the Juhu Beach. From the beautiful Bandra-Worli Sea link to the Taraporewala aquarium, there are so many things which caught my eye.

Let us visit 10 such dreamy places in Mumbai which are too good to be true.

1.  Marine drive

This famous landmark also known as the queen’s necklace is probably the most serene place in Mumbai. If you want to feel the soothing sea breeze or want to cuddle with your bae, there’s no better place than Marine drive.

The view from this part is absolutely stunning. Just sit back and enjoy the sunset with your loved ones.

3.  Sanjay Gandhi National Park

If sea is not your thing, then head to Sanjay Gandhi Nation Park for a beautiful time in the dense forests. You can also visit the Kanheri caves over here which are 2000-year-old. If the lakes, greenery or historical sites don’t interest you, maybe the park’s wildlife will. The park claims to be home to more than 20 lions and about four tigers housed in separate semi-confined areas. Visitors can opt to take a 20-minute lion or tiger safari to observe these fascinating creatures.

4.  Pandavkada Falls

This 107 mtr tall waterfall is easily reachable as it neighbours the very popular Kharghar town. “Tujhe Aksa beach ghuma du, aa chalti kya?”

This secluded beach provides a more peaceful experience than the other beaches of Mumbai. Just take a walk along the beach or sit back and enjoy the sunset while having a “Ice Gola”

9.  Rocky Beach

This smaller beach front with a few rocky patches is comparatively less crowded than its adjacent Juhu beach. Remains of iconic forts like the Versova fort are located on the other side of the creek. For some quality time and complete isolation do visit this beach.

This newly renovated small aquarium has over 100 marine and fresh water fish along with other sea creatures like turtles, sharks and recently added coral fish. If you want to do something different on your next date, visit this place for a fun date.
