We’ve heard this question, or something like it, whispered around every one of our lives. This is then quickly took after by an indication of the ‘rules’ of menstruation – you’re not to do certain things or go certain spots. As though periods, without anyone else wasn’t sufficiently troublesome to manage, we have an entire cluster of illogical standards forced by society.

These superstitions are only that — convictions in light of only backward, man centric attitudes from old circumstances. The accompanying are only a couple of cases of the marginal interesting things that Indian ladies hear each time they get their period.
