How I wish that growing up I had role models who could show me that you don’t need to have a certain body to feel good and beautiful in the pool 💁🏻‍♀️! As a child/teenager , I’d always find myself in long tights and an I’ll fitted men’s spandex tshirt everytime that I had to enjoy the pool 🤷🏻‍♀️. Few years down the line , the idea of a pool party or a day out by the pool would start stressing me out ,so much so that most of the time I’d bail out on the entire plan 🙈🙈🙈 ! Even though I have been an extremely confident girl regarding my body , this stigma of donning a swimsuit ,let alone a bikini,was strong in my head. Finally a few years back I decided that enough is enough…There is no wrong way of having a body and there is no right body to wear a swimsuit ! Since then I began enjoying the pool in my swimsuits 😎 but I was still really shy to don a Bikini. 😬 This year I decided to break free from these barriers in my head and I entered into 2018 and the pool wearing a Bikini 👙😍 !!! ☑️♥️☑️♥️☑️♥️☑️♥️☑️♥️☑️ Ladies we need to stop objectifying and judging our own bodies first , only then will others stop . Start breaking free from these stereotypes that the world has put on the kind of body one needs to have inorder to wear something!
